Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Head of the World Commission on Environment and Development of the United Nations, once said that “Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”
Treedom has been able to translate this into reality.
Treedom allows people to virtually buy trees and finance farmers who plant them. The philosophy is to realize sustainable ecosystems supporting thousands of farmers worldwide with the initial costs of planting new trees and providing them with know-how and technical support.
As Clamda-IM Mentorship Program we consider planting trees as a gift for future generations. And what a better time than Christmas to make a gift for us, our beloved and the whole world!
We decided to contribute by creating the first Clamda Forest on Treedom.
We named it “Giardini Margherita” in honor of our roots and the connection between Bologna and the surrounding nature.
