GELLIFY is looking for a new Investment Intern to join our team!
GELLIFY is the first Italian innovation platform that invests in B2B software digital start-ups and connects them to traditional companies with the purpose of innovating their processes, products and business models, through Open Innovation. We make B2B software digital start-ups grow from the early stage, that we call the liquid state, to the solid one, thanks to our innovative process called “Gellification”. A corporation which is looking to innovate can partner with GELLIFY to leverage all critical capabilities for digital transformation: Data Science, Internet of Things, Mobile, Design Thinking, Innovation Advisory. We deploy these innovations with our vertical domain expertise in Industry 4.0, Fintech and FoodTech. GELLIFY has also built an Innovation Community, called “EXPLORE”, whose aim is to connect entrepreneurs, innovators and professionals through B2B events and phygital experiences.
We are looking for an Investment Intern to join our growing team in Bologna!
GELLIFY’s investment focus is B2B software, with a passion for enterprise solutions. We invest in the supply side of innovation (the Startup) and we provide professional services to the demand side of innovation (the Corporation), this places GELLIFY in the intersection of the two curves and allows the candidate to operate in both worlds. The candidate will be in direct contact with the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the capital markets and will play an important role in all investment related activities.
Your activities and responsibilities will include investment, dealflow, reporting and content production activities. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple tasks, take initiative in troubleshooting, and find solutions. This person will collaborate directly with our Investment Manager.

Your day-to-day…
-Support in dealflow activities, from startup sourcing, startup interviews to dealflow pipeline excel simulations
-Support in investment activities, from investment dossier writing, market research to investment excel simulations
-Support in reporting activities, from startup quarterly reporting collection to investor reporting production
-Support in content production, internal and external stakeholder presentations
We are looking for someone who has:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Humanities, Engineering/Quantitative Disciplines
(must be comfortable with numbers)
-Curricular or non-curricular experience in some of the following: accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, startups, venture capital, private equity, accelerators, etc
Interest in the field of innovation
-English proficiency
-Microsoft Office skills (mainly excel and powerpoint)
-An analytical mindset and ability to think critically
-Strong communication skills
