The first Viral Talk of this new academic year was a great success!
Lorenzo Bezzi, Senior Associate Consultant at Bain, held an excel workshop showing most of the tools, and tricks, used in his daily tasks. Starting from a reproduction of a company database, he showed how and when excel tools can be applied to perform in-depth data analysis. Here follows his workshop recap:
- SUMIFS, AVERAGEIFS, COUNTIFS, IF, COUNTA, VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, IRR
- Lists (Data Validation to create specific data views), Goal Seek (What-if-Analysis), Scenario Analysis (What-if-Analysis), Pivot Table
